금오공과대학교(총장 곽호상)가 기업 현장의 애로기술 해결을 위한 ‘맞춤형 컨설팅 지원 업무협약’을 체결했다.

3일 금오공대 청운대에서 체결된 이번 업무협약은 스마트제조 기반의 기업 애로기술 해결 컨설팅 지원사업의 일환으로 애로기술에 대한 컨설턴트를 원하는 구미 지역 기업 22개사와 애로기술에 컨설팅을 수행할 35명의 컨설턴트 간 매칭을 위해 마련되었다.
협약식에는 김태성 금오공대 스마트그린제조혁신사업단장, 이승희 경북구미 스마트그린산단장, 이정철 한국생산성본부 스마트제조혁신센터 팀장 등을 비롯하여 컨설팅 협약을 맺게 된 지역 기업(문제희 ㈜거상 대표 등 22개사)과 컨설턴트(김귀곤 금오공대 컨설팅대학원장 등 35명) 등이 참여했다.
금오공대 스마트그린제조혁신사업단은 구미 제조기업의 스마트화를 위한 전문인력 양성을 목적으로, 스마트공장 테스트베드 구축을 비롯해 현장 중심의 실습 교육을 진행하고 있으며 이번 협약을 통해 지역 기업이 당면한 애로기술을 해결하는 컨설턴트를 지원할 계획이다.
이승희 경북구미 스마트그린산단사업단장은 “구미 지역은 기계·전자 등의 주력산업이 지능형 기계 등의 첨단 업종으로 고도화될 가능성이 높은 잠재력을 가지고 있다”며, “스마트산단 내 기업들이 당면한 애로 사항을 전문 컨설턴트와 함께 해결하는 과정을 통해 4차 산업혁명을 선도할 수 있는 성장 동력을 확보하기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
김태성 금오공대 스마트그린제조혁신사업단장은 “지역 기업이 필요한 니즈를 찾아 컨설팅 전문가와 함께 해결하려는 노력이 제조 혁신 생태계 고도화 및 스마트공장화를 위한 새로운 추진력이 될 것”이라며, “앞으로도 기업들의 제조 경쟁력 강화와 스마트 산업 분야 전문 인재 양성을 통해 구미 국가산업단지가 첨단 ICT 기술을 접목한 스마트산업단지로 성장할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
